Re: Face Behind The Screen
I find some humor in a big ass dude like you posting "I have a kitty." Am I the only one?

Ok, so unless a mod tells me any different, that's what I'm going with. Thank you both.

Battle clarification, please
So, the rules say... "To vote in a battles you must have one or more of the requirements. -You must have dropped a piece in the scriptures/battled once" But they also say that we can't battle if we haven't voted in battles. Is there a post that I missed that clarifies this? If not, nobody ...

Riggz, no question. Came hard with every bar, personalized, and harsh. Sm0k3, your bars were generic, good showing but couldn't quite match up. Much respect to both, you kept me entertained.

Re: Why is it...
Poetry is difficult to critique, I feel that as a reader, I have no right to tell people how their writing should be. Raps, on the other hand, it matters more about how enjoyable it is to listen to, how it's set up, etc. I've read a lot more than I've commented on. In fact, the only reason I opened ...

Re: Murderous Goodbyes.
Poetry is very black/white to me. I either love it or hate it. I love this. It was easy to get sucked in to, the emotion of the piece is alive. Thank you for sharing it.

Thank you both very much. I see what you're saying, and have some solid ideas on how to improve it. Intrinsic, I do plan on writing more bars, I can't let the bad guy win

Re: Drugs That You'd Never Do Again
Cocaine, because it's too expensive and the main effect it has on me is making me want more. Ecstasy, because I don't trust it anymore. The last 10 times or so, it was cut with so much dope that I can't bring myself to do it again. Maybe if someone I trust has taken the same pills and tells me it's ...

Can't Eat Ethics
Writing a song about how you do the right things and shit still doesn't work out. This is what I have so far, please criticize. Be honest, be harsh. I can take it. Hook: You can’t eat ethics And it ain’t real damn funny When all you have are morals But you’re real damn hungry, No money for food, Jus...

This is dope, not the conventional ridiculous shit that the mainstream is eating up. Real shit, much respect.

Re: kau the lion vs dr-krayzie
My vote is for Kau.
Krayzie, I liked some punchlines, but having to explain references just took the bite out of it. Good drop, but in my opinion, he got you.
Respect to both of you though.

Re: Explain Yo Screen Name
I was about to post the same question in a thread, cause I've seen some random names that I wanted a story behind. That's how I found this one. Skunkle Sam is a reference to Uncle Sam, and how the shitty excuse for a government skunks anyone and everyone out of anything and everything that they can....

Re: MY LYRICS, RATE AND COMMENT THE NEXT EMINEM
I couldn't find flow in it, the content isn't bad. My biggest criticism is the title of your post. Why would you want to be someone else? I can't relate with Em, but I'd never say I'm the next Slug or Aes Rock. People want to hear somebody being them, not somebody trying to be someone else. I'd sugg...
