Battle clarification, please

Post by Skunkle Sam »

So, the rules say...

"To vote in a battles you must have one or more of the requirements.

-You must have dropped a piece in the scriptures/battled once"

But they also say that we can't battle if we haven't voted in battles. Is there a post that I missed that clarifies this? If not, nobody can battle if they follow the rules... I've voted in a few, just want to make sure I'm complying...

From what I gather, u must have 50 posts to do anything with battles. Call someone out then battle. Battle expirience is required when voting if specified by the battlers. Unless someone posts different to ur question, consider it written in stone.

From what I understand, the rules have recently changed. One of the mods can correct me if I'm wrotng, but as far as I understand there is no longer any minimum post requirement for voting in battles unless the battlers specifically say only people with over a certain amount of posts may vote. Then after you've voted once your eligible to battle. But with each battle verse you drop you also need to include links to two battles you've voted on, in order to make sure cats ain't just swingin through for their own personal battles without contributing to the site in other ways too.

Ok, so unless a mod tells me any different, that's what I'm going with. Thank you both.

As long as your vote is explained, it shouldn't matter too much. Obviously there will be a time when votes are in question, but I don't see that being relevant to you in any way.

I have no problem with supplying voter cred.. the only time it may become an issue is when newbs join and they battle before voting. Is that newb not allowed to battle until they've voted? And will that newb even get a "chance" to vote on battles when the majorioty of battles require 50+ posts?

If there are battles were the newb has voted and they don't want to count it, at least the newb made an attempt at voting.
However, I think as long as the newb establishes they aren't some silly alias of someone else and explain their votes, I don't see how their votes should be discredited...
As long as the attempt is made to vote on two battles, then it's fine.
If is does turnout to be some kind of problem, then people with fewer than 50 posts will have to battle first and will not be required to vote on two battles, but I don't want to add confusion to shit, so that will only happen IF there comes problems from this. Otherwise, stick to everything above the last paragraph of this post :)
