Dos Santos and Pacquiao win

Post by Momeijah »

Apparently the Pacquiao decision was very controversial. Junior Dos Santos, on the other hand KOed Cain Velasquez (who I was backing to win).

I was really excited for this weekend but, meh. What a letdown. Who seen the Overeem and Lesnar press conference though ? December 30th can't come soon enough. Overeem's gonna eat Brock alive, mark my words.

Cain was looking good and he applied pressure for a short while, but made one small mistake that cost him the match. Could happen to any great fighter, imo he still has a good chance of beating Dos Santos in a rematch (if they have one).

Overeem doesn't have the greatest chin ever but in a striking exchange with Brock or Dos Santos he will come out on top 9 times outta 10. Brock was champ but the heavyweight division is so full of talent now he probably won't even get a title shot again. Have you seen Overeem's takedown defence ? He's a big guy but his speed is amazing when people try to get on top of him on the ground. Furthermore, Brock is rusty and coming off a loss and career threatening injury. Overeem isn't just super active in MMA but in K-1 kickboxing too. He's the next UFC heavyweight champ.
