a 60 dollar mic found it at best buy and i got a pop filter...
that's all i record with then i just start editing the vocals on cool edit...
i hard limit,use dynamic processing,graphic equalizer,light hiss,noise reduction,normalize,then i reverb...am i doing anything wrong or should i be doing more...
and it could be that i'm doubling up the vocals that make it sound like that...

well check it...few tips personally from me to you.
Double-up vocals- you want to make them subtle. Only time you leave both your vocals up loud is when you're doing a heavy, aggressive track....like a diss track for example! Other than that...subtle is the way to go. Record your main vocals...make sure their volume is good and solid. And then the double-ups...turn them real low. You just want them to hint around the words that you're trying to emphasize. So make sure your doubles are softer than your primary vocals...you want to just barely be able to hear them.
Try to steer away from you reverbs, delays and flangers unless absolutely neccessary. I know alot of the shit sounds cool...but the more "natural" sounding your vocals are...the better. Too much effect sounds bad. Or it makes it seem like you're tryin to cover up a crappy voice or sumthin. Your own voice is your best voice. Only add a reverb or a delay on a hook (chorus)...that way it'll seperate your hooks vocals from your verses vocals. But don't make the effect too strong...just do it enough to tell a difference between the two parts of the song.
Practice these two things and your mixing will get better and so will your over-all sound quality. After you do that...I'll give you more tips.

this was pretty kool man,had my head bobbin in'a few spots here n there..not bad@all to me, i think u need to like..loosen up more?if i can say that.as kurse once told me when i go to record, practice a few times or as many as u want, and get HYPED! feel the beat, the flow and everything. make sure its all on point ya kno? ur flow is pretty kool. lyrically id give it a 7/10 but the overall track id give it 7.5/10 still cud use fix up the loose ends such as the mixing and practicing a lil more with ur flow and presentation of ur verses..but its pretty kool overall man keep@it. we shud collab sometime in the future when i got time
