1) this song is okay... ya flow is unsteady man... you weren't riding the beat well... some bars were too long cause you sped up ya flow and still ended them off beat... made it hard to get into

2) this beat is rough... it has potential but you have to do alot with in from this point here... not enough variances in the beat to make it listenable as just an instrumental. The lack of a true drum pattern isn't help much either.

3) the beat too is rough i see. not as much potential as the one before. ya beats stay too consitant at times and the melodies aren't very engaging on this one either. you gotta work on the drum lines of ya beats... it's overly simplistic and the kick drum is weak.

4) the vibe is cool on this one... the drumkit is a constant lackin area on these beats... but i do like how the sounds are more "moving" than the previous 2 beats. I suggest some more natural sounds... just to replace the synth like sounds you have here. Don't change much with the sound just replace em with "realer" sounds and see how it comes out... and add a drum line lol

(okay i'll try to review some more later) i'd focus on improving ya drumlines... what you using to produce these?

wow man, youve got amazing lyrics. num 1 is madddd hot... jus work on the flow a little bit.. the beginning was good wen u werent spittin too fast

num 2 i agree wit cutta p

num 3 has alot of potential if u take out that shitty drumkit n give it some bass n some good kicks. this really reminds me of a score rather than an instrumental. that dark suspenseful melody aint shit w/o the energy of a good drum pattern.

num 4.. ehh..

num 5 is mad hot.. like cutta p said, your drum patterns need alotta work. seems like ur opting for a more simplistic rock-style beat.. def need some snares or claps, or something... all ur drum patterns are generally uninteresting. take out the 16 count hats for a couple bars to give it a break down or somethin... its rele an itch on the ear drum hearin that through out the entire thing.

after the bombshell is amazing... real mellow nd uplifting almost jazzy feel to it... everything up til 1:05 in that song is gold. once the violin comes in, it kills it. it seems off key, off beat, w/e. somethings not rite about it. if ur gonna do a violin melody, make it more complex than that... nd turn the volume down jus a lil bit so it doesnt overpower everything else.

btw if u dont mind, is it cool if i remix after the bombshell?

khemistry is hot... again wit that 16 count hat tho... if u gon do that, turn the volume down on it so it doesnt annoy ppl. wait.... ight ight lol... i like how u took it down a notch after the sample was finished, this prolly one of the better ones ive heard

that guy u fear is ight.. i notice ur good at producing an atmosphere of emotion in ur tracks.. u jus gotta get better at drum patterns and variation of the main melody. if not instrumentals, u really cud be good at producing background music for movies n shit like that

ill check out some more l8r

lotus and cuttin p are on point with most of their critiques

your main problem is the lack of a good rhythm, you have alotta interesting vibes going on usually which probably wouldn't sound bad as a looped beat but the drumlines are typically 1/3 kicks and 2/4 snares or similar repetative patterns and that just accentuates the loops repetativeness

another problem is a poor choice of sounds, the atmospheric pad type sounds you use are good but the synths and real instruments you use aren't very appealing sonically, and i'm not really feeling the drumkits you use either especially the synth ones they just don't really sound good at all

you're improving pretty well though these are alot better than the previous ones you posted, just work on your drumlines and try to make some harmonys to compliment your melodys so your stuff doesn't sound as repetative

heres some sites for free sounds that'll help you out alot

www.warbeats.com < tons of drumkits

www.kvraudio.com < largest vst database on the net, go into the search and you can find basically any type of instrument you want theirs a buncha free vsts, a good bit are assgravy but theirs some real quality ones their too

www.dskmusic.com < some pretty good vsts, check out the soundfonts he just posted too they're pretty nice

www.goldbaby.co.nz/freestuff.html < a buncha vintage drummachines (808, 909, 707, etc.) great quality too

you can also get some bootlegged commercial vsts but i don't have a link for them (i don't really got a go-to site i use a variety of sources)

sample it? or ask him for the flp file (if he used more than fl stock sounds the patterns'll show up but the sounds won't which really isn't a problem if you have a similar sound)
