Grown Ups was shit ^ what movie did you watch??? I laughed one time and that was during the "I'm the black guy!" scene.

The American
2/5
Had a lot of the potential after the opening scene but the pacing was slow as hell and the end was anticlimactic. It's one of those movies where they sell you one storyline in the trailer and it's about something completely different.

The Town
4.7/5
One of the best movies of the year imo. Ben Affleck was great as well as his co-stars. It however also was a movie where the trailer betrayed you. I thought Ben's directing was great and after like 5 minutes I wanted to visit Charlestown Boston if only for the gangsters and Bostonian accent. The ending was pretty good, there were a few great quotes, and I've been telling everyone to watch it since I did.

Inception 4.5/5
Creative as hell, though with the uniqueness of the concept I think they really could've done some better dream sequences here and there. But the story was awesome, and really everything about it was awesome. Though I swear, if I watched this movie every day it'd probably be the most surefire way to go insane.

Machete 2.5/5
This is the kind of movie I think some people will really like a lot. And I do think it had a helluva lot of potential to be a really good movie, but it just didn't quite match up to its potential imo. The over-the-top gore was well done in that campy/cheesy kinda way, and there were some good LOL moments scattered throughout, but I think the story just kinda started to fizzle out over time and I started to loose interest. By the end I was wishing the movie had ended earlier.

judged as a comedy or by individual performance grown ups isn't that great but for what it is it's a real good movie, just a kinda regular feel good family movie with some comedy

inside man (fairly old movie but it was the last one i watched)

10/10 my favorite spike lee movie and imo the best movie based around a robbery, storylines dope and denzel kills it like usual

Might as well review a few more I've watched recently.

The Other Guys
8.6/10
Ferrell is not the same old stagnant oblivious character in this one. Instead he's smart but just socially awkward. I loved his role in this. I really never got why people hate Mark Whalberg bar his attempt at rapping. He may be the same character in every movie but I like him and him and Will worked great in this. This movie wasn't really the constant crude humor like Step Brothers or Superbad but it was really funny. Samuel L & The Rock had a good cameo but how they left the movie was pretty nonsensical and leaves you confused. Overall, pretty good movie, definitely will re watch.

The City Of God
9.1/10
The best subtitled movie I've ever watched. I tried to watch it 2 or 3 times before but kept forgetting about it after 2 or 3 minutes into it because I was skeptical if I had downloaded the right movie. This movie shows that star actors, CGI, and 3-D are not needed to make a classic. It's pretty long but the story is amazing. The first 30 minutes of it is a set up for the rest of the movie's story and as the story progressives more and more secrets are uprooted and more people are killed. The karate guy is a great and likable dynamic character who I found especially entertaining. Overall, if you can tolerate subtitles and are a fan of gangster flicks and want a different 3rd world take on it then watch this. You will not be disappointed.

I heard that was really good. Now, does your Mrs haen to be a dancer ? You see, I was a cometitive dancer for 14 years and so I have a really hard time watching dance flicks lol. Also I heard it was comarible to Mulholland Drive. Thoughts on this ?

Heard of Mulholland Drive, but have never seen it. And no, the Mrs. isn't a dancer, she just happens to pick random ass movies. She made a good choice with this one.

Next is...
Dinner For Schmucks - I don't recommend it and wouldn't watch it again even if they paid me. Stupidest movie I've seen in a while. I give it a 1/10 only because 1 maybe 2 scenes made me chuckle...

The Town - Good acting, good storyline, overall above average movie. I can see shit like that happening in real life(guess it does happen in real life, except for the ending). Recommend it. 8/10
