Well I use my keyboard to produce. I run it from the back of the board to my computer through an M-Audio midi sound interface that's called a "blue bug" and it syncronizes with my production software that's also made by M-Audio called "Session"

Here is my set up. I have acoustic treatment all around:

From there I have my core set up, 21in iMac powered with Logic Studio, Reason, and the Native Instruments Suite. Midi ran through the MPC and the MicroKorg, sometimes through the EWI if I want something more expressive.
MPC 1000
MPC 1000
MicroKorg Keys w/Vocoder

Bass and EWI, not shown is the clarinet, trumpet, or alto sax

For vocals I use the AT2020 if I'm producing and something comes to mind.
AT2020 Condenser Mic, "the quick track mic"

If the track is complete and is in need of good vox or if I'm engineering for another person's project, the NT1 is the man for the job.
FlexiBooth, Rodes NT1, Pop screen, "the get it tight mic"

Let me know what you guys think. I'm always down for feedback and collaboration. I'm currently working with a couple of cats, but if it's not work it's music for me and I'm looking for others who are willing to work together whatever the project may be.

Microphone = Blue Yeti. (yes i'm broke).
Headphones = Sony mdr zx 100 headphones. indeed they are cheap.
Monitors = old sony vinyl player(found in my dad's basement two or three years ago) with an rca line in port hooked up to the blue yeti's monitoring port.
DAW = Adobe Audition
Production = FL Studio 9 and Reason 5 coupled with laptop keyboard. XD
Brain to create lyrics and random piano arrangements(anyone feel like offering to help a brother learn chords and all that other important shit !??) i know, i'm lazy.
Laptop for everything else.
I'd take pictures but my studio looks like your regular broke 19 year old's wanna-be studio so i'd rather not, lol. plus the rooms dirty right now, cigarette butts, roaches, laundry, grease on the walls amongst other unwanted garbage.

Sounds like a standard set up, dont worry, not every one is balling, and you dont need to be ballin to be talented. We all start in similar fashions.
