to be honest Twinz didn't get me into hip hop... even tho it was a sick fucking song... i remember as a kid i was at Wal Mart with my mom and she bought me four tapes... and to this day i still have these tapes and love em... first tape i got was a Skee-Lo single called Top Of The Stairs... GREAT SONG!!! Second tape i got was the Bad Boys soundtrack which had Warren G, Biggie feat Da Brat, 2Pac (which introduced me to 2Pac and the others) Call Of Da Wild and others... and the third tape i got was LL Cool J's single Doin It and the Walk With A Panther album... haha i remember sittin in my room listenin to Walk With A Panther and jammin to Goin Back To Cali... that was my jam then still is haha... thats when i started diggin deeper into the roots of Hip Hop... n became aware of artists like Naughty By Nature, De la Soul, Run DMC, Digital Underground and so on...
