Save the Spirit of Mozart

Post by blokB »

this beat was an emotional rollercoaster for me. im sure some wil feel its not quite hip hop enough and im sorry if i post this outa place but i honestly realy want feed on this. im aware my mastering skills need improving but i was rather proud of this track and any criticism is highly welcomed.

We must always and forever have hip-hops best interest at heart. We must allow ourselves to be critical of the music and culture so that ideas and beliefs that aren’t progressive can be eliminated and made unattractive to our youth. Our allegiance to Hip Hop has to be about more than romanticized ideas of misogyny, materialism, murder and mayhem. Instead our allegiances must be rooted in what we individually and collectively determine beneficial. The story of misogyny, materialism, murder and mayhem doesn’t end well. We’ve got proof. Doing what one believes is individually and collectively beneficial may allow for a better ending. Or better yet, no ending at all.

Alright, of the three beats u recently uploaded, this'd be my favorite. It's got more goin on with it, keeps me more interested in it, and the instrumentals u bring together in it work well together. I think it could actually carry a flow well with the right kind of matching delivery. I liked this...

Ad a mastering suite combinator, and place it between your your main mixer and your main out at the very top if your rack didn't come with one already. When you hit tab, disconnect main mixer out, re lead to the combinator you placed in, and from the combinator, wire to main out. Should make this sound "fuller" as you play with the pre loaded settings. I'm digging the strings, has some good emotion! much better than your prior one i rated lol.

nice instrumentation in this one, imo it needs a different bassline though it gets a lil repetative and if it had a bassline with a different pattern it'd sound more interesting
Respect this, specialist, black, testing this and get ya necklace jacked
Your after name scratched up off my guestlist, party freak
You the type of nigga that'll hardly speak unless you spoken to
You throw a cold screw but sober up when I'm approaching you
At the same time we postin two niggaz on that ass
Thats gonna do what they supposed to do the limelight
Snatched away from you because its my night
Killarm' blaze hotter than twilight, you better get ya lines right
Half of these crabs cant even rhyme right

thanks dude. i dont care much for the bassline either, maybe thats why i cant flow on it. as far as repetative goes though i thought if it had lyrics on it it would take away from that. could be wrong but like i said i cant seem to spit on this track cleanly, thats probly why. thanks for feeding man.
