Brock Lesnar – UFC – Return 6 Months?

I’ve noticed a lot of conversation about Brock Lesnar on hip hop discussion boards. He has commanded a lot of attention since making his debut in the UFC a couple years back.

In the past few weeks we have been finding out scattered news about Brock being in bad health. Yesterday, we were informed that he actually has a hole in his intestine, obviously, a very serious problem. Shortly after it was announced that he will be treated at one of the best hospitals in the world, the Mayo Clinic, whether that has happened yet or not is undetermined, but we do know the surgery to fix the intestine has been completed.

Dana White has been keeping Yahoo Sports, among others updated with the latest progress, which was seemingly all pessimistic until today when some hopeful news came out his Lesnar’s circle. If all is well, Brock may be able to return the octagon in six months. Though that should be the last thing on our minds, it is a positive sign, because as of last week Dana White, the UFC President, was giving some very gloomy forecasts about Brock’s condition.

As everybody knows, we don’t do cover much for entertainment on Illest, but I thought this was important enough to do a quick write up. If you’re a fan of the UFC, they do have an event tomorrow night, UFC 106, which will feature the return of Tito Ortiz. It’s too bad that Brock won’t be able to compete in the event, as he was originally scheduled to do so.

I’ll bet you this song is going be the most downloaded track in the history of I-tunes. I wouldn’t say that its one of his most incredible songs – it surely will put a smile on the face of any Michael Jackson fan. If anyone has any speculation on what this song is about – maybe its a deeper metaphor than what appears at face value – please comment. I’m also interested to know your opinion on the song.

Update: Apparently, there is a lot more songs on the way, this one might have been recorded in 1990.

Michael Jackson News – Fatal Shot May Have Killed Him

The Michael Jackson story has finally simmered down enough for us to cover the real developments and there was a big one yesterday.

The investigation surrounding the death of Michael Jackson reached a new chapter yesterday (July 27), when a law enforcement official revealed that the entertainer’s personal physician administered the drug authorities believe killed him. The official, who spoke to the Associated Press on condition of anonymity in light of the case being ongoing, added that Dr. Conrad Murray gave Jackson the anesthetic Propofol (Diprivan) on the last night of his life.

Jackson, who died June 25, was taking the drug regularly to help him go to sleep.

A doctor would administer Propofol to Jackson when he went to sleep, then stop the intravenous drip when he wanted to wake up, said the official, who added that Murray gave the Grammy-winning vocalist the drug through an IV sometime after midnight on the day of his death.

Murray’s lawyer, Edward Chernoff, responded to the official’s revelations by saying: “We will not be commenting on rumors, innuendo or unnamed sources.”

According to reports, Murray was with the music icon when he died.

Don’t worry, I don’t plan on posting all of the happenings after Michael Jackson’s death. I think that this video gives some good context to what kind of life Michael Jackson has had.

You can never truly see into the depths of a mans soul, I will say this much though, the idea of plugging his label, only a few days after the death of his son, is a bit too much for me to handle.
