Dr.Dre will be putting off his Detox album and it won’t be coming until 08. He told L.A times recently in an interview. He talked about his album and Eminem’s.
Detox has been promoted for the last 8 years. It’s had literally dozens of rumored release dates.
Dre says there is other projects in the way, for example the upcoming Eminem album.
“We’ll be trying to get his thing done and work on a few things on my own project,” Dre said in regards to wrapping up Eminem’s as-yet-titled album. “I was really hoping to have (Detox) out this year, but it’s going to have to be pushed back a while because of some other things I’ve got to work on,” he continued as he said that he’s only two or three songs away from finishing it.” – Hip Hop Dx
He also stated that Detox will be his last round. He is ready to move on to doing movies and hopefully one day directing them.
“I think it’s time to move on,” Dre said.
He later went on to call it a young mans game. He also said this should be his best album.
