Jay Electronica must be a big fan of LeBron James.

It all started with Jay-Z selling a secret show at The Box club in New York on November 12, promising a “big announcement.” Jay-Z would later reveal that the show was for Jay Electronica—the latest rapper to sign to Hov’s Roc Nation label.

“My whole goal is to reintroduce magic to hip hop,” Jay-Z told the invite-only crowd. “We watched this wizard do his thing. Y’all supported him. And he’s an official Roc Nation signee.”

Champagne bottles were popped, smiles were shared, but not everyone was in the partying mood that night, no, I’m talking about Mr. Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs.  The “Bad Boy” himself turned to Twitter to express his frustration–frustration for believing Jay was leaning towards signing with his Bad Boy Label, frustration over the track The Ghost Of  Christopher Wallace. Like an Alabama trailer park, Diddy was/is not a happy camper — as a matter of fact, he felt down right “bamboozled.”

A few sunrises later…

Jay Electronica reached out to Diddy, putting his two cents into this broken soda machine.

Diddy responded with — @JayElectronica I proud of you! I’m happy for you. I love you! I congratulate you’ I’m not mad at you! All I wanna do is see you win! All love

Here’s a video from the event.
