Love her or hate her, The self-proclaimed “Pink Barbie” will hammer the charts as early as 2012 and is projected to keep a lock on the female aspects of Hip Hop with her untitled sophomore LP.

According to Cash Money co-CEO, Brian “Birdman” Williams, he anticipates an early 2012 release with a single as possible as this year.  “Maybe this year? I don’t know,” says Birdman. “We’re really thinking it out. But she’s in the studio, and we’re looking real soon, because she’s ready to go and we’re ready to go with her.”

Minaj’s debut album, “Pink Friday”, was released November of last year and has currently sold around 1,588,000 copies.  The star packed, beat banging LP saw collaborations from Drake, Eminem, Kanye West, and Rhianna, just to name a few and got a little bit of help from veteran producers, will.i.am, Swizz Beatz, and Bangladesh.  It has spawned eight singles and another one, “I’m the Best” that is scheduled to be released in early December.

Minaj, who’s been busy tearing up the concert scene with Pop Princess Britney Spears, isn’t letting much info loose when it comes to the new album.  “All I can say is that I’m working on it, and the fans are gonna get their life and then some.” There have been no mention of guest appearances or producers for the album at this time but with bangers like “Moment 4 Life”, “Did It On em”, and “Super Bass”, expect Minaj to dominate charts well into 2013.
