Nip tucked by peer pressure.

Like most hip hop acts now days,  Nipsey Hussle is going to have to look his fans in the eye and tell them “you’re going to have to wait a lil’ longer for the release of my debut album, South Central State of Mind.

The project was scheduled to drop December 21st, but before it could happen, the plug was pulled from what it seems to be a lack of confidence in the material he already has. Luckily The Nip himself had some free time to sit on his cell phone and text up an explanation via his Twitter page.

South central state of mind has been indefinitly postponed. I’m droping “The Marathon” on 12 21 2010. I’ll explain because yall matter to me: SOUTH CENTRAL STATE OF MIND IS MY MASTERPEICE. WHEN ITS DONE U WILL GET IT. UNTILL THEN #TMC. THIS IS NOT MY LABELS DECISION, ITS A CREATIVE MOVE TO ENSURE THAT I GIVE MY TRUE BELIVERS MY BEST OFFERING ON MY DEBUT ALBUM. MY LIFE HAS BEEN SUCH A STRUGGLE, AND I ALWAYS SAID IF I EVER MAKE IT TO WHERE I AM NOW I WOULD DO IT FROM THE HEART.
