50 Cent and Eminem have putting together tracks for 50’s upcoming album Before I Self Destruct, which will be released December 9th.

“Dre sent over a bunch of beats, and we’re just going through them all, picking out who wants what,” the G-Unit chief told Blender from Eminem’s Detroit home, where he was spending the night. “We already finished one joint”–the Slim Shady-starring “Norman Bates Motel”–“and just started vocals on another. It’s gonna blow you away, I guarantee.”

In 38 days, Method Man and Redman will start their “Still High” tour. The combination that finally got back together this summer for Rock The Bells plans to recapture their spot in the limelight and burn a couple J’s in the meantime. They will be taking Termanology along with them as well.

Chamillionaire claims that Houston rap is dead in a recent interview. It makes me look weak if everywhere I’m going, they think that just everybody from Texas fell off. It’s easy to put out an album and put out a hit, but after that, what do you do?” Moments later, Chamillionaire forecast the controversy that would follow the statement as he declared, “Maybe they’re right. Maybe Texas is dead.”

An interesting Master P case is under the radar as well. “According to documents filed in a Manhattan, NY South District Court, Miller, Wal-Mart Inc. and manufacturer Happy Nation Inc. are being sued for copying Pepe Jeans’ distinct logo, which is described as “a stylized P enclosed in a circle.”

“The complaint also alleges that the logo’s placement on the hangtags infringes on Pepe’s tradition of displaying its ‘P’ mark on a round plastic tab halfway down the tags of its merchandise,” says Matthew Lynch of the fashion magazine Daily National Republic. “Pepe and its co-plaintiff licensee Jean Design Ltd. are seeking an injunction against the use of the logo, all profits and damages that ensued from infringing activities, legal fees and unspecified damages.”
