American Gangster is an absolutely brilliant movie with an extraordinary performance from one of the greatest actors of our time Denzel Washington. The movies premise seems simple, but the movie has a lot of complex details and for over 2 hours you will need to pay close attention. Denzel Washington plays Frank Lucas a 70’s drug lord, who runs the drug business in New York. Richie Roberts (Russell Crowe) is a cop in American Gangster and works to put Frank Lucas behind bars. Absolutely riveting movie and highly recommended.
