The movies premise seems simple, but the movie has a lot of complex details and for over 2 hours you will need to pay close attention. Denzel Washington plays Frank Lucas a 70’s drug lord, who runs the drug business in New York. Richie Roberts (Russell Crowe) is a cop in American Gangster and works to put Frank Lucas behind bars. Absolutely riveting movie and highly recommended.
