Theophilus London releases the official music video for his new song ‘Century Girl’, featuring British composer, songwriter and producer Devonte Hynes. The pair who have been working closely for a while now, produced and directed the home like video themselves.  The video features Liz Lee from MTV’s ‘My Life as Liz’ and Playboy’s Christina Curry. London is known for having a pretty exclusive friends list, so I’m guessing this is how the two young ladies ended up appearing in his video.

With quite simple visuals, the video is actually very effective, matching up with an 80’s theme that London has interestingly tailored within his own unique style. The video captures footage from the Brooklyn rappers performances, tours and to some extent – intimate scenes of London and Devonte messing around in a house with Liz, then in other scenes Christina.

Currently working towards the release of his forthcoming album in June, Theophilus London signed to Warner Brothers, is an alternative rap artist with a diverse musical style, consisting of soul-pop/punk to electro and edgy R&B. London recently released a five track EP, entitled ‘Lovers Holiday’ which includes the track ‘Why Even Try’ featuring Sara Quin. – StupidDope
