Hey.

Post by Ziggy »

Hey, I ain't got any freestyles, as I've just started researching this stuff, I'd prefer to write rhymes more than spit them as I think my voice is terrible and I'm as white as Bill Gates.

I ain't got the courage as of yet. :)

But I just searched Rapping 101 and boom, I was here.

I'm a writer of different things; scripts, stories but rap has always interested me, and well, I'd love to learn it as a hobby or anything else.

Welcome to illest my man. everyone here is on there own level and ive yet to find a bad critic. drop. feed. get feed bro. Welcome.
We must always and forever have hip-hops best interest at heart. We must allow ourselves to be critical of the music and culture so that ideas and beliefs that aren’t progressive can be eliminated and made unattractive to our youth. Our allegiance to Hip Hop has to be about more than romanticized ideas of misogyny, materialism, murder and mayhem. Instead our allegiances must be rooted in what we individually and collectively determine beneficial. The story of misogyny, materialism, murder and mayhem doesn’t end well. We’ve got proof. Doing what one believes is individually and collectively beneficial may allow for a better ending. Or better yet, no ending at all.

I'm from England.

Take a look at british artists like Devlin and Tinie Tempah, then scrap that shit away. I hate the newfound british grime.

I prefer old skool, I love writing - You might see a few literate pieces but I don't think I'll drop a flow on anything since I've never tried rapping per say. And I'm afraid I'd show you how much I suck at it. It's more writing for me right now. :)
