I`m Glad Kanye West Did Tha Album ..
Cus i Know a lot Of Muthafuckas Would Be afraid to Step Outside Tha Box to Do it ..
He`s Not a Rapper No More, He`s an Artist Now ..
He`s Showin What He Feels Thru Music ..
& U Can Feel His Pain ..
A lot Of Close Minded Niggas Don't See That Shit Cus They Always Gotta Put That Rapper Title Before Puttin That Human Title ..
People Do What They Feel When They are Hurt ..
& He Loss His Moms Niggas Know How Close He Was To Her ..
I Loved Tha Album it Was Dope IMO ..
But Not Album Of Tha Year Material ..
This Album Wasn't Meant For Close Minded Niggas ..
Thas Why So Many Niggas Didn't Like it ..

exactly and thats why other people who dont nessecarily like hip-hop dug the album. i respect him for stepping outside of his comfort zone on 808's but like you said it was no album of the year material especially when there were plenty albums ahead of him in the hip-hop cat even tho it wasnt that solid of a year. we all need to remember kayne west was a producer before a rapper so who says he needs to even do hip-hop anymore he has enough talent musically to take on whatever he wants to do next...and for that i give him respect. at the same time alot of the shit he did to himself from where he started in the game and to now and how he wants to be portrayed in the media is something i dont respect. his first album will probably remain his best. same with 50.

I think Game always holds it down with real shit, "Dope boyz" & "Games Pain" were both dope and nuff to earn album of the year. I also like "Letter to the King" and "Angle".

The Game! L.A.X

dude is growing as an artist, i can understand its not too everyone's taste... but the album has gone platinum.. cant call that a failure in that aspect.. and millions of people are liking the change and new sound...

the songs are like he's been doing it all his life.. some unbelievable beats and backing music, along with decent singing and autotune.. bad news and coldest winter being my favs, honourable mention to paranoid, robocop, say you will, see you in my nightmares.. two i least like are the two singles he released first..

what are they saying about him in chicago?...
its a faggy gimmick thats been around forever, its not called growing as an artist when you do something you're not good at, vanilla ice and ice t both did horrible heavy metal albums were they growing artists? no they were just faggots, same shit with kanye, only faggy hipsters with no sense of music would say that album is good everything from the production to the vocals are mediocre & sound like something a faggy hipster emo band would put out

kanye west doesn't even have musical talent, hes a good sample based producer thats it, he can't sing or play any instruments so him putting out that album was like jordan playing baseball... it just didn't work but idiots still went to see him try to swing the bat just out of interest, some were probably even blinded by his other skills enough that they thought he was good

TI had the best album by far, jeezys shit was aight but it was his weakest album imo, roots album was cool didn't have much replay value for me though

You are a lame haha A lot of cats like you are stuck in the past and think that ppl should stick to the same "GIMMICK" they been using for years instead of changing and ADVANCING...

You can be left in the dark if you want.... but hip hop music is gonna turn around for the better and a lot of that is due to ppl like Kanye who arent afraid of stepping outside of the box that ppl with closed minds like YOU have put them in

haha you are that old grandpa on the porch bitchin about kids these days haha
