just my opinion but sounds like you just need more practice writing, freestyle out loud to a beat, im serious it will help you write/learn how to structure syllables, it doesnt matter how much you screw up or whatever just do it it helps, and as far as multies go i read why you think they screw your verses up and my advice is just dont force them if its not guna fit fuck it but the more you practice it will get much easier

As far as flow, yes, you can flow without them.
But as far as success and skill as a lyricist,
Not using inner-multis, maybe.
No multis peroid, no.
