try to go into ur sound options in windows then find ur Mic option and click advanced and make sure that Alternative Mic isnt checked

yeah, i've done that.. but i'm unable to adjust the volume to verify the mic in the system.. don't know what it is..

what kinda mic is it usb or a headphone jack one?

Yeah, it's a headphone jack mic.. if that's what u call it..

lol w.e just try messin with that in the back of ur computer and make sure that its plugged into the right place

it's connected through a soundcard, and yeah - it's plugged into the right place..

yeah i no but u could of plugged it in the wrong port
