my thoughts
Papoose? Garbage.
Lil Wayne? Garbage.
Ludacris? In just the technical aspects of rapping (delivery, flow, breath control etc) hes definately one of the greatest but lyrically and album wise hes really been falling off he doesn't have a cd touching word of mouf and that came out like 8 years ago
The Game? Garbage. He's ass lyrically with no topic or direction on 99% of tracks. Can't ride a beat for shit. Lazy ass delivery. He's got a good beat selection but that doesn't have shit to do with his abilitys.
Sage Francis? Too underground to really be the illest. He caters his music to his fanbase which is fine but his music isn't as listener friendly as alotta underground artists. Lyrically hes top notch though.
Jadakiss? Hes way too one dimensional. He's good at what he does but he's not diverse enough to be considered the illest. His delivery and flow rarely change so it gets boring to listen to alotta material from him.
Tech N9ne? Like Ludacris in the technical aspects of rapping hes top notch. Lyrically he tends to babble sometimes. I'm a big Tech N9ne fan but his albums have alotta shitty tracks, every album theirs at least half a dozen skip tracks.
Joe Budden? He's diverse and good at a variety of styles. Hes got some witty lyrics. I probably wouldn't call him the illest but hes definately a contender.
i dunno what my answer would be i listen to my own music more than anybody elses, so i'm gonna have to go with drunken jesus, new drunken jesus tracks(beats with rappity raps!?!?!?!??!?) coming soon, building a studio now
