Where I Stand #5

I'm from a realm, where hell, is overwhelmed, excelled like a soldiers shell//
each one tells, of a soul that was selled, the person who is swelled//
is now held, and i'm compelled, to not tell there story, they fell to a gory end//
death isn't glorys friend, so now the soldier is going to try to blend//
back in with the rest of the men, after killing an innocent civilian//
and the press is waiting for an investigation, a few are chillin//
coincidentally workers are drilling, one reporter trys to get a fill-in//
but their not willing to speak, we are paying billions for leaks//
theirs oil spilling but nothing thrilling, beneath the concrete//
i go to my jeep where i sleep, and i get a page there will be a brief//
speech to explain why the gun was reached, i went back took a seat//
in the street, heard a screetch, the sargent read off a sheet//
and when he was complete, everyone clapped besides me//
six months later a soldier was charged, facing life behind bars//
the same sarge that backed his entourage is now far//
from the attack, he tried to be hard, about Iraq//
said he was scarred by the fact, that America would turn on him like that//
though from my perspective maybe just my view//
and i wrote this in the news, this man is the one//
who turned on you, and when the trial is through//
it will be proved, that america is still true//
The freedom extends beyond the blue//
