Nas' Nigga Album was too hyped. I was disappointed.
Out of all them albums the most enjoyable to Listen too was probably Nelly's Brass Knuckles.

But if i were to choose one it'd have to be T.I.'s Paper Trail. Solid album.

I think that T.I. probably has it on lock mainstream wise with all his singles, but I voted for my man AZ cuz the dude is heavily underrated and IMO is a better lyricist than Nas. Every collab the two have done has been nice, though. I just got Luda's album yesterday so its too early to judge, but I've always liked Luda. Best mainstream rapper from the south, hands down. I could vote Game too, but dude seriously needs to get off Dre's nuts. Now he even sounds like him where I actually have trouble differentiating the two. First, he couldn't drop 16 without mentioning him, now he can't drop 16 without jackin his style. I'm just glad they signed Clyde Carson to Black Wallstreet. Dude has some nice bangers, I'm sure with more promo money from Game's wallet and he'll be on the charts. Lol I didn't even know Nelly had an album. Dude fell off and just can't compete anymore. He needs to quit while he still has money, or maybe he's out of cash, hence the album. Haven't even heard a single on the radio from it. Shit, every song on B96 up here in Minneapolis is either T-Pain, T.I., or Lil Wayne. God, that fucking Mrs Officer song is ANNOYING!

lmao@Mrs Officer
but The Game is more on Eazy E & NWA nut's(which he never met) more than Dre.

man how man am i suprised im the only person who voted for the roots - rising down. glad to see lil wayne, rick ross, nelly, and fat joe zero votes. that was well deserved. i agree with you ruckus. AZ is way underated and all of his albums slip under the radar. hes a great mc legendary and an ill lyricist. the roots album in my eyes was better, had better features, and better production. if you guys havent hear the roots rising down. or any of their past albums check them out. ITS HIP-HOP!

^ yea...a classic failure. lol You should hear what the majority of Chicagoians are sayin about him and that album over here! And this is his home-town!!! lmao Let's put it this way...Kanye = Epic Failure. GO BACK TO RAP!!!

T.I.'s Paper Trail was the hottest on that list. But even though it was one of the "brightest crayons" in a box full of dull ones listed...even with a stronger list it'd still be towards the top! The album is rawwww, no bullshit.

classic failure.. alot of ignorant cats around the place then..

"duhhhhhh... kayne cant do dat.. he's a rapper... duhhh not a singer... "

dude is growing as an artist, i can understand its not too everyone's taste... but the album has gone platinum.. cant call that a failure in that aspect.. and millions of people are liking the change and new sound...

the songs are like he's been doing it all his life.. some unbelievable beats and backing music, along with decent singing and autotune.. bad news and coldest winter being my favs, honourable mention to paranoid, robocop, say you will, see you in my nightmares.. two i least like are the two singles he released first..

what are they saying about him in chicago?...
