staying on point..sometimes theres so much u can write about a topic
but in the end u have to re-read it like..is this really relevant?

I dislike how hard it is to construct that opening line too, but what I hate the most is how when you initially write something it can seem hot, then you read it the next day and your like “WTF?â€

i Hate How There's No Limits On How Much u Can improve Something. Say u Write a Bar Then u Think Of a Better Multi To Throw at The End, So u Change The 2nd Line, And it's Better. But if u Nitpick Hard Enough Everything Can Be improved And u Just Eventually Go 'Ah Fuck it' And Drop it.

Scrips? Love it.
Battling? I have a shit-ton of great wordplay, nameplay, and punches but it seems as if I just can't word them right to hit hard enough.

No doubt.
I think the hardest thing is getting started. That's why I hit cyphers more often, its easier to just go off someone elses rhyme scheme and not have a central topic. I could sit and come up with sick ass multies all day long without a problem whatsoever, and flow is second nature to me. But taking both of those and combining them, and trying to add meaning to it, that becomes a challenge most times. I eventually just nitpick it to death until its more basic than it was because I got so focused on multies that I watered down the story/meaning. I HATE writing battle verses, one of the main reasons I don't battle anymore. I'm all about personals because they hit the hardest, I'm not a fan of generic punches that could be used on anyone, so I'd just get stressed writing so I just quit doing battles. Not worth it IMO. I don't need to battle to earn respect.
