Eh a More Recent interest Of Mine, Even Though ive Not Come Around To it Yet.

Well Once On an Old Work Placement Back in 05 i Was Helping Out at This Abandoned... i Donno Hmm, 'Colony', Around 10 Or 15 Buildings Out in The Middle Of Nowhere Surrounded By Trees And Whatnot. This Place Was For Kids With Mental Disabilities To Live, And Was Soon To Be Knocked Down And Built Over. We Had To Measure The Landscape Etc, (ill Try Find Pics On Google).

Anyway This Place Was Eerie To Say The Least, These Old, Crumbling Buildings Hadn't Been Used Or Lived in For Years, Most Of Them Were Actually Built From Wood Like Those American Houses. They Were Painted White And Blue, My Memory's a Little Fuzzy So i Can't Remember Exactly What All The Buildings Were. There Were Definitely a Few Houses, a Small Chapel (i Rung The Bells To Freak People Out), And a School. There Were Still Random Possessions And items Scattered Around Some Of The Buildings, it Was Like Something Out Of a Horror Movie. Almost Like House Of Wax, a Forgotten Village, Spooky.

So Yeah, Another Stereotypical Stoner interest Lol. i Want To Get into Exploring (Especially Abandoned insane Asylums But i Don't Think There's Any Nearby Lol). i Was Looking at These Sites, Even if This isn't Really ur Cup Of Tea u Could Probably Find inspiration in Some Of The Pictures And Text To Apply in Whatever Kinda Literature.

if u Are interested in This, Or Even Enjoy This as a Pastime, Then Post About ur Experiences. id Be Delighted To Hear. :)

Ive been in hundreds of empty buildings through my work. Normally im in them if their about to be demolished or re developed. I`ve been in all sorts from old empty factories, schools, tower blocks, tenements, care homes, underground stations that aint been used in decades..etc. it is interesting how you never know what your gonna find. a lot of it aint a pretty sight lol, especially when the junkies get it in and do their thing. Occasionally the junkies are still there when we've went in and a couple months ago we found a smelly ass junkies corpse lying on the floor under a blanket. We never seen him at first but you could smell him as soon as u opened the door. lmao all decomposing and shit. That was in an old folks home which had been abandoned for 10 years and was half burnt down. On the other hand sometimes you find good shit. I remember we were in a factory where the occupants had got a huge pay off to relocate coz they were building a motorway. They left more or less everything. I remember taking all sorts..printers, scanners, all kinds of computer shit and a cracker of a dart board lol. We filled the van up a few times. I dunno about doing it for sport but yeah.

^if domino wasn't convinced before, your stories of decomposing bodies and free loot are sure to.

that sounds interesting. Take a high-resolution camera with you and take texture pictures.

scotland is great that way we got somethin called "right of way" which basically means as long as it ain't inhabited private property anything goes, and as long as you ain't in restricted grounds.
