I wanna record ... but i wanna make my lyrics easy to understand and mainstream.
Ive tried writing songs without multis and they just seem off.
So could someone give me pointers to write verses with minimal multis that still flow well ? Like do lines have to have the same number of syllables or what?
Do i have to improve my structure and shiz ?
Just a few pointers would help. I havent written in a while.

Yes. It all has to do with structure. Even if you're not using multis, you still need the same amount of syllables at the end of bars to keep the flow even besides if you're real talented.

I just feel that with me, when i try to write multis, some rhymes come out forced and my whole message is misconstrued and it just becomes a whole sheet of worthless rhyming and clever multi's rather then a message.
I wanna get my message across plain and simple, conveying the ideas that i intend with an easy to follow flow. That's all . And integrate the pop aspect of it here and there.

its possible to flow without multies, it's just alot slicker sounding with multies. If your using multies and it isn't sounding write, it's probably a structure problem or the simple fact that your trying to hard to create multies and forcing them because of it. Care to put up an example of a time you tried to use multies and it came out wack? With this it would easier to evaluate exactly what your doing wrong, and how to help you fix it.

o yea you checked my song wats wrong in my head i didn't have any multis in that and it flowed pretty well

Dude if you listen to my tracks i rarely use mulit's i like to get my points across just like you are wanting to do. Its not hard at all.. its all about your 1st bar.. if you can flow the 1st bar with out multis then its just easy after that.. if you want man let me know what you want to write about and i will try and write something for you just for an example of what im trying to say here.

Just remember that it takes practice with multis, even just rhyming, could technically change what you're attempting to say in the bar. For me, I find it just as easy to use 6-12 syllables then just one syllable and still get my point across.

yea i try to atleast use 2 ta 4 in each bar but im not great so sometimes i struggle its all about practice

write 2 syllable or 3 syllable multis if you have trouble with strings, if you can't write in 2 or 3 syllable rhymes and convey your message how you want you're not a very good writer, its not that difficult with a good vocabulary

multis and structure go hand in hand your structure has to be right or the multis will accentuate the flaws instead of helping, try to write all your bars at around the same length & multis(when internal rhyming) in a rhythmic fashion
