This is old.

Bold - Socrates
Italic - Euthyphro
Euthyphro
The Porch of the King Archon

I remember socrates, where all the elders were mocking me,
The gods were first to stop it and you were the first of my philosophies.

Observe what's loved of the gods slowly, they showed me,
Different in aspect, for power their whole past spent was holy.

Each of your predictions Socrates stands correct,
From hand to neck, all of your philosophies demand respect.

A little extra and maybe we're wrong to admit it,
But the Athenians brought war and they were wrong in admission.

Soul is your wisdom, it's the chambers you live in,
Shackles and chains leave scars just a metaphor for the hatred within it.

Don't hold your tongue, I know you don't think slow,
Sharpened your knowledge since you was young Euthyphro.

Well time's up, maybe we'll converse again,
Dashed my thoughts to the gods to get my words to them.

Out of the box a thinker who ignored ignorance,
The court drew near I swung with a bigger fist.

Bold - Socrates
Italic - Friend of Socrates

The Apology

Note the expression an eye for an eye, Is it live or die?
Only gods create, but who can relate? Like would you rather swim or fly?

List your penalties, no casualties, I'll pay you security,
Four disciples of you Socrates who're mockery free. so who's hurting me?

May destination of fate take its place,
The things that are well only taint my face.

I won't utter it I'm only speaking the prophecy,
They swore me to oath and hoped that I choked, but I remembered your philosophies.

This is my proof and truth to what I've been said,
All this hell is injustice causing all Athens to live dead?

Nobody knows the truth and who believes the gods?
As immortals they could care less if we defeat the odds.

So who do I blame? When a threat states that 'You'll be slain?'
Put a knife to my throat and slice but don't choke, now who's insane?

Old Soc got your blood on my hands I won't pay for this,
My family gawd, it was your crime and fraud, now how can I save my kids?

The moment the artist depart, it's a deep dark,
The dues were payed and slain by those with weak hearts.

Bold - Socrates
Italic- Crito

Crito
The Prison of Socrates

So far you've done well Socrates, flawless philosophies,
May you be locked in hell, but hope the gods spot your robbery.

Let me hear your mind talk Crito what do you think?
Were the laws correct, or was there small respect on the brink?

They stayed true in my opinion, perhaps deception lies within it,
The jesters make jokes and the jury was swayed folk, they're quick witted.

Do you see what I see? Please wipe the blood from your eyes,
This is the prison of me, hell from the visions I see, Why must I die?

Socrates pause being wreckless and let the dead stay breathless,
Our plans have aged and I've grown with rage, so let all remain helpless.

Speak your peace Crito or stay silent,
I know how your tongue works, you've slung words that raged violence.

May I stay quiet, nothing sparked my vocals,
You're a great thinker, but more so art is hopeful.

Leader of my disciples, God's always in front,
But the gods despise my power, so I'm lonely in hunt.

Bold - Socrates
Italic - Crito
Underline - Echecrates

Crito & Echecrates of Phlius
The Prison of Socrates

Go away and depart, and then he will suffer less at my death,
Crito my good friend, never thought it would end, but here's the last of my breath.
"I return your good wishes, and will do as you bid",
Good to me, how could it be that I'd think I'd never live?

"The sun is still upon the hilltops", still rising to your skilled plots,
Soon deceased you lay, believe in peace we pray, while the you sleep with still rocks.

I don't think I should gain anything by drinking the posion a littler later,
Let me charrish this time, hoping that death will be blind, damn this liqiud slayer.

Cheer to the gods, how about a libation?
You've payed your dues, never in vein you lose this creation.

"Yet I may and must pray to the gods to prosper my journey",
Why am I to be boxed in a hurry? Allow my sons to surround my funds and clergy.
"What is this strange outcry?" How could you arrive late friend of mine?
Put me to sleep for good, if I could dream I would, but now I'm out of time.
"When the poison reaches the heart, that will be the end",
My life cut short, Crito I hold the tight support you send.
Respect creativity.

This was pretty good. One problem though... only a very small audience is going to be able to relate this. Its pretty cool to flip Plato's work in a sense. Had good multies, the flow was pretty solid. But like I said, this is only going to appeal to a select few. I'm not very knowledgable in Greek philosophy so this piece doesn't really strike a chord with me. But from a lyrical standpoint, it seems pretty solid. A larger concept to grasp and relate to, and I think some of the lines are a little cumbersome to spit over a track. Definitely makes me think Canibus. I can respect creativity, and this piece has some, but I'll judge just how creative you really are when you drop a concept that someone else didn't create.
