Year In Review 2009

This year went by faster than a comet and in the grand scheme of things will be more irrelevant than a dead silence comment.

2009 is nearly through, here is my year in review
same old plex, the structure appears to be new like pyramids in abu
we all had highs and lows, even I experienced a few
props are seriously adieu for Menace, a lyricist anew
clap for em, I'm cheering for you, I offer congratulations
Quix grabbed our attention, but never caught our imaginations
the quandrum is fascinating, beyond the drama its admiration
shots never hit, it was raps version of the Obama assassination
if I respond back, I'm bringing the wrath of satan on that occassion
Quix was aggravated as catholic masons masturbating after castration
JJ was back making a massive statement, murderin rhymes
he came off the bench and made an impact like Steve Kerr in his prime
09 is over, we are closing the curtains and blinds
some were worthy of shine, others were sick, but were perfectly fine
with a flick,Illest discovered a mix of gutta and quix
I loved the subtle hits, ugly ripped, the corrupt government
arv started to show that he was fit to write, lyrical cardio
when he was spitting nice, I was surprised how far he'd go
I'm not the only artist to gloat, I believed every bar that I wrote
stressed every line, spit rhymes, literally with my heart in my throat
I could feel the pulse, c4 yielded real results, defeating scott
even his weakest drop had hip hop down to the t like a jesus cross
everyone thought ambition could rip harder, if he rhymed a bit smarter
Haz would be more exciting when writing than the 03 Vince Carter
shit, James brought us to a slaughter mill, he's got the skill
Arvincible, puts your flow under pressure, without the water bill
battles pyschological as dr phil, K KiLLaH, brought the league
I had a prophecy, I thought we'd see, Raizor Sharpe as the next prodigy
this year, he didn't drop much for quality, I'm seldom wrong
the battle grounds didn't have the same feel, since Rell was gone
Teflon is a weapon loaded, at 4 and 0, what about Domino
he scorched like Geronimo, phenomenal at a level only ekoms would know
time to pass the torch, to Modern Defiance and Mass Effekt
Riggz, J Haze, and every last cadet that will blast a tech
in Illests name, slash a neck, kill a lame, rebuild the game
Def-init with a SacredVerse, the skills ain't change
just the faces, this year everyone was, Derek Jeter, touching bases
we had Ruckus take this; to a place ain't been in fucking ages
we had enough disgraces, we saw Phasewon spit like no other
rainman was a fan of Ruckus and J Haze, they were the joans brothers
nobody was Petrafyne'n, Tre Tru, together they were electrifying
I feel my cholesterol rising, Dynamiq had professional rhyming
rhyme schemes with exceptional timing, everyone was definitely lying
when they said Illest was dead, I guess they were Myan
I retired and made the same type of comeback that Typo was trying
Sin'Tense started his reign from the same cloud Deciple arrived in
we all had the ambition to be writing more, that's what the site is for
this year everyone upped their skill level unlike their feiko score
Dead Silence is still an illest asset, Rocky climbing his last cliff
this year everyone dropped a mixtape on Dat Piff for the masses
I go the distance, but Magic, Arv, C4, and James was a classic
that collab is, off the wall, like the mona lisa, its in the cabinets
Illmatic status, but you see, some of us fight, just to be
others are like Symbolikal, Precise and Viral, come for a cup of tea
then leave, behind a legacy, this year everyone acted stupidily
nobody could stand to lose, I guess, we couldn't use the wii
we improved the degree to which we fuse the old and the new in
for those who were newbing, we did it old school, like the Soviet Union
we found a report of bones, in the grave yard, Millz from our gay dar
Lawgix and Quarterzone are still on everyones radar like a great car
we all played hard, I beefed with Domino without a second thought
Chainsaw was intrenched in battles, like military special ops
everyone was hoping they'd wreck the spot from PTR to PIFF
fortunately, CPR exists or I don't think we'd see another bar from Quix
this year, he went after Ambition, but it wasn't the hardest diss
and dissing plex, puts your heart at risk like an incompetent cardiologist
Modern Defiance, didn't get off on charges like Jeff Hardy did
Hazard moved up a couple classes, he was the smartest kid
Kurse dropped a street album like Fabolous, I was going to start to say
Magic and Illest parted ways, it was another penny hardaway
then he came back, let's see if he makes an impact like C4
some came back to be more, others were jackasses, they act like eeyore
this year instrumental was more instrumental than jesus
but an instrumental by jesus is instrumental as nike is to adidas
NWO was genius, the anniversary a secret, u guys didnt like them ideas much
let me clear up the fact that 09 was wack, yah the fucking year sucked
no fluids out of my tear ducks, even this review has a rare appeal
if 08 was a fucking rollercoaster, then 09 was the ferris wheel
terrors real, I brought it, with this topic; I didn't want to come across as selfish
let me just say, I'm still a champion, like the Boston Celtics

I liked every bit of this. The beginning in red made me laugh, along with other lines in there. There were a lot of good memories in this. Great Job with this one, on to 2010.

You seem to have this perpetual habit of ruining the scriptures by making yourself seem more important than you actually are. Have you seen me accept any call outs? I've battled one or two times since 2007. Please link me to the tag team battle that you're referring to.

I always enjoy the year in reviews, its always funny to recall some memories that you were part of, this piece was better. It shows how much you improve as a writer every year too.. the multis are much more creative than last year's and the flow was much smoother. Your intros always have some kind of political relation.. I notice that, its not bad though.

I didnt like the sentence structure on the cee4 defeating scott bar, it was just weird to read.

Anyways it was a good read, not too long, not redundant, and its was as well written as ur expected to do.
