February 19, 2010 – Oakland, CA – Mogul Media Group announces the debut of Fresh Caesar with the release of the mixtape, “The Breakthrough, vol. 1” available for download on February 23, 2010 at http://www.freshcaesar.com.
The freshman effort by the Bay Area artist sends the message loud and clear that the bay is beginning a new era; wiping the slate clean for 2010. This inaugural endeavor not only introduces Fresh Caesar to the market, it also highlights producers that reworked familiar beats to create new sounds for a project that is comprehensively Caesar. “The Breakthrough vol. 1” mixtape tells the unique story of Fresh Caesar through his music, his family and his hood.
The first single entitled “Hey Love” is a love story displaying Fresh Caesar’s lyrical and creative versatility, over a uniquely unorthodox Jae Knox produced beat. “Call Me Caesar” is a hard hitting fan anthem that samples Jay-Z’s “Run this town.” This track is a definite must for 2010; a certified club banger!
