anthem type banger with a pulsing synth bassline with a unique arrangement with a breakdown every couple bars as opposed to a hook & a breakbeat style drumline with plenty of flavor & bounce

i like the fact u structured it diffrently so its not jus verse chorus verse chorus etc.
i dont think i was feelin the synth bass tho. i think an acoustic bass would sound better wit those other sounds u used, like the percussion and stuff. i think one thing also about a structure like this is it seemed like there wasnt much room for the beat to progress. no transition really to build up to, and i think that kinda thing coulda gave it a bit more flavor. not bad tho

replacing the synth with an acoustic wouldn't work too well sonically it'd sound alot duller in comparision cause the compositions not all that complex, i can see not liking it though sound's just a distorted saw nothing real special
i agree about the lack of room for progression in the beat due to the format i tryed to play some melodys and counter melodys to add some more flavor but it didn't sound like it made sense musically so i just added more to the drumline instead, vibe i was going for was more pulsing than climatic so it all worked out in the end anyway but yeah it could have more flavor if i switched it up a lil
good looking on the feed you seem to know your shit

It's interesting cuz I actually kinda like the synthy bass in combination with this beat, even though I just finished commenting on how I didn't like a similar kind of synthy beat in your other piece. I guess for me the synth seems to be a bit more necessary with this one as opposed to the other. My only thought on this one, is that I kept hoping something more was gonna happen with the piano key that was striking through the beginning of it. I was kinda hoping it would break out into a solo kind of thing for a couple bars, or at least change up a couple of keys here and there.

yeah actually its the same sound i made the bass synth for this track & used it on the part that comes in with the guitar on the other beat you checked out, agree with your criticism the more i've listened to it the more i realized it needs something else originally had a guitar line coming in right after the part where the drums drop out but axxed it cuz it wasn't that great & didn't fit
