I like the idea behind this one, and feel it has some potential, but I feel like some of the sound samples sound too video game-esque, like old nintendo or something.

listened to this again to try to hear what you meant, overall i went with brighter instruments in this so maybe thats it? or could be the non-chord piano its a CP80 which is an electro-acoustic hybrid piano which has a slightly different tone/character than an acoustic chords might be a cp80 too can't really tell by ear in a full mix cuz the difference is more subtle with lower chords

What type of trak u think this can be? I like the chillness of it, but still pretty upbeat. I found the beats i was gon send u its jus my shit keeps turnin off on me. I dont kno wus goin on with it witch is y i jus been on here via phone. I like this though hay-zeus. Very melodious. Alotta life to the beat. Not all repetetive like most. U can tell u put the work into transitioning the beat. I tip my hat to u sir

good looking out loon & really i got no clue what kinda track i'd write to this cuz like you said it's kinda a mix of mellow and upbeat
