i wanted you too record this shit and you did mayne the lyrics were nice, it was perhaps the emotion in ya voice that knocks it down a lil it sound slike you readin the lyrics of the paper, you need to learn that shit or at least most parts of it so it sounds natural and then it has that fresh swagger from ya voice, nice track though keep'em comin

yeeeea. this sounds clean dawg. real good. i think ur already there now. the only thing i can say is the delivery i guess. like mess said, it kinda sounded like u was readin for a couple parts. the intensity and the feelin were definetly there. the quality upped ur game another level for real. sounded crisp. i only got a lil listen here at work cus my bossed walked in but ill deffy take another look wen i get out. but for the most part, shit is waaaaay better than ur previous. big ups dawg

This is hot, but lolz on the beat I literally have a song to this track from when I was first downloading tracks n shit

okay feedback... real talk here it is

Lyrics- good lyrics, I like the multis and the depth of the heartfelt shit. i think I recognize it from something you wrote recently..

Flow- really good flow, it seems to just come naturally to you whereas most people struggle with that more than anything else

production- WAYYY better since the upgrade. I would try a couple things like knowing how far to speak away from the mic... like you don't want your mouth around it, but you don't wanna be too far either. i just noticed sometimes you got a little more quiet than others... And I wouldn't use these downloaded beats if you wanna sell many CDs cause people can tell what's original and what's not. I would ask for help on here for beats or I would go around in your town and try to find pianists and drummers and shit like that and have 100 percent original beats with no samples which is pretty rare and filthy ya know??

I'm only saying all that cause I think you could make a business out of it if you worked at it.

Swag- Definitely need to up your swag. Swag is totally underestimated, but that's why Young Money makes so much damn money. They're completely confident. Like in the beginning when you said "I'm baaackk.." your voice kinda trailed a little bit, thus making it easy to tell you weren't 100 percent sure about your own work although it was really good besides the fact that you weren't so sure of yourself. Your voice was just monotone a lot like someone above me said...like you were reading. You gotta 100 percent feel your shit before you want others to 100 percent feel your shit.

That being said, it was overall a great piece

what catch is trying to say is stay 6 inches away from the mic... how my producer taught me is to put ur knuckles to ur chin and the finger tips on the pop filter thats how far away u should be... if u get loud weave in and out away from the mic but make sure u come back if u get soft... to show emotion.. and... obviously when u record u do it in different takes... so do ya intro (stop recording) do verse 1 (stop recording) do ya hook (stop recording) and so on... make sure also that u atleast have a controlled environment with sound proofing... EGG CRATES AND THICK BLANKETS WORK WONDERS!!!! its just to muffle any bass u may have in ur room that will be able to catch it so it sounds clean when u play just ur vocals back... u will know if u have a good ear when it sounds like a natural reverb on ur voice...

mp3 beats are hard to mix... cuz their already mixed and compressed to shit... i would say if u wanted to use a mp3 beat make sure the bit rate is 320kbps or in the 200 range WAV is the highest quality format u can use which will make ur shit sound superior... if vocals and the wav beat is mixed right which the beat will be if the producer is competent... lol... but wav beats are hard to come by unless u connect with people on Illest i know Mass Effect has given me a few of his beats in WAV format... which btw i am gonna do somethin with it just haven't had time lol the lyrics are wrote just need to focus on it haha... newayz thats a major tip that i can tell u to do... what program do u use to record with? if u don't have one i suggest Cool Edit Pro for beginners... cuz thats what i started on and i still use it... any questions hit me up

It will be upped for the next one that for shure...thanks on the feed tho ..i appreciate it...when i do the next one ill be hittin u up law..and messiah too

man the only way pro tools is hard is if you dont know anyone who uses it. man i was lost till hkx told me bout 2 levelers and compressors. just 2! now shit takes me bout 5 minutes to edit. seriously. and the quality is far better. trust me dawg the money is well worth it. and its waaaaaay easier than cool edit. i know cus those are the only 2 programs ive ever used to record.
