its a harsh reality, our principalities are obsolete
in the streets its the men with the heat on the seat
the preacher is the drug dealer with the weed
teacher is the thug who made it out his teens
its a gritty scene ain't no signs of change
so we stuck in the same game grindin for change
rhymin or cane playing ball or the work place
chooose your way, either one will be a tough phase
in ya life, we all pay the price
thats why anger strikes the mic i write to fight
but the fight aint right we loosin lives over here
while the commander in charge is sippin on his beer
lets get some shit clear i dont trust the government
i know for a fact that the crack shit they're fundin it
walking in iraq with a pack of killers
that used to be the dealers with a change of feelings
wanted to do good they joined the army
didn't know they were shootin innocent that are starving
now they're back home haunted by the bombardment
its a fucked up world evil's trapped in our conscience
