yeah man just stick with it. This is basic stuff, elementary type raps, but thats how EVERYONE starts. Just work on more complex line and using better vocabulary, ya know? and use more multis, it makes it flow better, and makes it better lyrically.

For instance:

My mind is crazy like a psyco
So I get my pen and start a flow

you coulda worded this alot better, and put more into, and def. more multis. such as:

im crazy like a pycho, pick up the pen and write bro,
started a tight-flow, practice more & you might grow...

^just an example. But yeah, like i said, everyone started at the level your at. So just practice. And try to write on different topics. Just write write write, and you'll elevate.

8th mentioned starting.. to be honest i started off with rhymes that u'll only find in cat in the hat and other dr. suess books so if u r starting than its a good start...if u've been at it for a while than u just need to improve.. alot of wat ur saying doesn't really rhyme unless ur pronouncing it wrong lol.. but n e how the example 8th gave u is a considered a multi since he's rhyming two words at a time.. best way to do this is to focus on rhyming syllables

if ur as dedicated as u seem.. add lyrical_ekoms to ur yahoo messenger

btw from experience.. the best way to improve might be to see how other people do it.. and try to do it like them... and then improve to be better than them.. text battles always helps improve ur writing.. especially if ur into violent and insulting writing..try to stay away from using the same rhyming words like up when it comes to writing unless ur going to record and use it for a hook but it still would only work if ur doing crunk

and if ur into crunk then leave that as ur musical preference since most of us at illestlyrics don't enjoy crunk becuz it lacks lyrical content and is mostly used for clubbing

keep practicing tho.. practice DOESN'T make perfect but it sure does help

Yah. I agree. Practice/Practice/Practice man.

The more you read the more rhymes you learn and shit. And techniques you learn. After you learn the techniques you can vary them to suit your own style. If you can get a mentor it would help a lot like ekoms persay. But if not just practice/practice/practice. And stay around people that are better then you or at least at your level. Because they will make you want to do better and elevate your game. (for instance this site).
