usually post final/mostly final mixes so figure i'd switch it up, this is a jawn i worked on for a bit but didn't figure out how to finish, two parts likely won't be together in the final mix just put them that way for the hell of it, part @ the end may end up being another track entirely i dunno

i'm looking for input on what you think i should add to this instruments wise etc. or where i should take it in general, also anything you don't like about the parts as it stands is welcome as well

Let's see, instrument wise, what about adding some strings. You'd have to do some experimenting to see what kind of string sound might work, but I'm thinking something kinda deep and powerful.
I think the percussion needs to be brought up a little too, especially when it first hits, cuz your intro would need to lead into the beat with someone flowin' hard right off the start in order for the intro to be effective, i think, at least if this was to be utilized as a hip-hop beat. I think that if after the intro it immediately went into the faster shit that comes in at about 1:03, and then slowed up after that it could be good. It'd start the flow off powerful, which would be good for the whole atmosphere of what was being rapped thereafter.
