When UGK's Pimp C was released from prison last year after a four-year bid, the countdown to the group's next album began. That countdown will end December 19.

On that day, the southern legends will release their seventh album, a 20-track double LP entitled U.G.K. Underground Kingz. The long-awaited set - the group's first set of original material since 2001's Dirty Money - figures to be Pimp C and Bun B's most ambitious record yet.

Much of the production will be handled by Pimp, who has masterminded UGK's sound since the group began. Southern heavyweights Jazze Pha, Lil Jon and Scarface will also lend beats, as will New Yorkers Swizz Beatz and Marley Marl.

Featured emcees will include Rick Ross, Slim Thug, Sleepy Brown and Three Six Mafia.

U.G.K. Underground Kingz' first single will be the Jazze Pha-produced “Stop and Go.â€
