aLb - imo you took the wrong approach your verse is all personal but the punches are lacking, personals are most effective when their tied into a punch concept rather than just kinda pointed out, think the last line was your strongest even though it could be used on anybody it was still the most concise and effective, your structures pretty good, just need to focus more on witty personal punches next match instead of just personals with the links

rugged - you kinda did the same thing al did and OD'd with the personals a bit not to the same extent but ya'll should be making punches that work well without a backstory & hit even harder when you know the backstory, if you use links people should wanna click the link because the bars interesting/dope/funny and they wanna see what you mean in the context, they shouldn't have to click the link to figure out what your line means, thought your 2nd and 3rd bar were the best, the wording or wordplay was off or forced on the other 3

basically boils down to 2 lines from rug i thought were pretty good vs one line from al i thought was aight, you both took about the same approach of attack overall i think rugged just pulled it off better

the personals and punches weren't hard hitting in either verses. aLb, like DJ said, just pointed shit out, not really digging into his opponent and since he just joined(well, under a new name I guess...), I understand why it was harder for rugged to really get personal too. flow was aight for both but I think aLb edged it. I enjoyed reading Rugged's more though. he had more of everything else(wordplay, nameplay, etc.), and I'm counting those towards the personals and punches. Basically I agree with DJ, he explained it well.

alb...you got the flow down, take the advice and elevate
rugged...decent verse but I've seen much better from you
