dude on the chorus is horrible, he can't sing a melody for shit, the track would sound better without him
lyrics were pretty simple, work on your flow and delivery it sounds like you're just talking
get a pop filter or don't spit directly at the mic cause theirs alotta air going into the mic everytime you stress a syllable
beats cool
you got potential you just need a good bit of practice to get a style down

Yah. The chorus needs more emotion.
I appreciated this though. You can
write more complex though.
Keep it up.

I kinda have this theory .even though you guys might not think the lyrics are complex enough its cause you're all good writers , but when a song goes mainstream part of it being liked is easy lyrics that can be understood and memorised easily so everyone can sing along with the song and feel they acomplished something. Ill try writing more complex tho no worries.

That's not a theory its a fact..lol
Now think about your audience?

your theorys semi correct, a typical rap fan won't like aesop rock or anybody else abstract like him, but its mainly his production
but that doesn't mean you gotta be simple, look at fabolous all his singles target females but he still rhymes like 5 syllables a bar and makes hits that are popular with dumb bitches
the average listener of music doesn't pay attention to lyrics, its not they like simple lyrics its that they like any lyrics as long as the beats hot, so you don't gotta rap simple to try to get more listeners
the most overlooked element of hip hop is swagger, a dude could rhyme the simplest shit ever but have a dope style and swagger and people will like him perfect example = snoop dogg

ok iuno whos doin the hook, but wow sooooooooo much potential wasted. delivery was ehh, could have done it better. don't mean to sound like a dumb ass but was this ur first track? i mean u can do alot better. work on deliverence, singin the hook, lyrics were okay didn't work for the beat tho, if i were a fan i'd be disappointed. but just work on that shit. it took me a while and i'm still learnin. but just work on it. i do like the topic tho.
