no longer am I standing straight cause i've crossed joints/
i'm smoking life out of death stressing a point/
cause of hearing good news i've been deaf now anoint/
that living is taken for granted till your time living/
is halted to join the non-living/
life is based on mistakes, yet none are forgiven/
cause whats at stake whatever God's given devil already takes/
trying to eat steak end up with a empty plate and a clean slate/
you comming up short shooting too early your already late/
so heres to new beginings cause your life is fake/
wheel's been spinning striking no fortune/
on the wrong channel so you missing a ton/
your a bootleg reality show, tune in to my station and get reality flow

[CONCEPT]
Darkness describes life before it is known, a menace is grown/
tryin to gain acceptance, replenish the throne/
a tenant to the game till he makes it his home/
his own stories is told written in poem/
sound waves rush though the ears straight ta the mind/
listen, take hold of the rhythm, mouth spits a rhyme/
hand grabs a pen it's the beginning of a line/
all functions connect its part of the body design/
times changed its seems rappers spit from the top of there head/
while I speak from the bottom instead/
of the heart that is, I know how hard it gets/
and emcees now only rap about how hard they is/
lifes a puzzle each piece brings you closer to the end/
didn't want the piece ta bring my end, so I found peace through the pen/
but its still kids on the street that's mentalitys low/
so I continue to preach, peep my reality flow

Pretty good. Both verses were nice and went well together. Gui could obviously
write a little more lucid. Overall was cool though, especially if he hasn't
been writing long
