been getting back into it use to play all the time in my teens cuz i had a table and 2 other homies did too recently been frequenting bars more often and shooting regularly again dont have a good stick anymore so i just ordered a mcdermott only cost a bill but itll do half these bars sticks are all fucked up so i just need something to help my consistency get better

so any yall into pool? what kinda stick you got? hard, med, or soft tip? know any cool trick shots to try?

i been working on the shot from poolhall junkies where the cue balls touching another ball up against the side rail and you bank the cue ball into the other siderail it sends the ball towards the side pocket and it comes off the bank and taps the ball in the side pocket(explanation prob. sucks ill post a youtube vid of it when i get home)

I play pool all the time but I just use the cues in the bar/pool hall/wherever cause it doesn't make much of a difference to me unless it's warped.

well where im @ the clubs that are leagues usually have decent sticks but alotta the regular bars have like 1-2 usable sticks and the rest are warped/broke/fucked up tips

good sticks dont make much difference except in smoothness & if you put a soft tip on one it shoots more accurately especially when using english

btw never buy a graphite/aluminum/metal etc. sticks they have a weird recoil and dont absorb the impact properly like wood does

Im an avid pool player, but I dont do trick shots and shit. Just play. Usually twice a week, if not more, sometimes for money, sometimes for silly bets between friends, sometimes for nothing... But I really enjoy the game and find it's almost always competitive.
