Twista In Car Accident

Rap artist Twista was injured in a car accident in the Chicago area early January 7th.
While Twista was driving his Dodge Charger, he was hit by a driver who failed to stop as required by law. The hit and run incident took place close to 4AM.
"He is at home with his private doctor under observation," manager of Twista Rawle Stewart told sources. "Twista pulled over in his Charger, but the (other) driver took off."
Twista then released the following statement, "I want to thank all of my fans and supporters for checking in on my health. I was the victim of a hit and run car accident this morning but I am home resting comfortably as per the guidance of my doctor. The grind does not stop, as I will shortly be back in front of my fans, giving them the energetic performances they have come to expect from me."
The recent release of Twista's CD "The Day After" has debuted on the Billboard Top 200 Charts with a #2 spot after its release in October. "The Day After" was just recently certified gold.
His hit single "Girl Tonight" is holding on to its #13 spot on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs featuring Trey Songz.
