Idol Fallacy...

Armageddon isn't what they said it was gonna be...
They took famine and poverty and set it in front of me...
Cops gone bad, flexin' their guns at me...
Instead of heaven descending, my enemies come for me...
We're forgiven for faults
committed through false
visions and decisions that ministers halt...
And god sees the Middle East and their religious assaults
but declines to turn them into pillars of salt...
It seems like you're playing favorites, only a few get selected...
You brought your son back to life, just to prove and set the record
so why aren't the OTHER 6 million Jews resurrected...?
And what's the difference between Babylonian foes
and modern-day matrimonial woes...?
Wrong is wrong, but instead you choose your fights...
Fuck you, god, I refuse to lose my rights at the hands of you and Christ...
What happened to hell spawns and the four horsemen of the apocalypse...?
Instead I'm watchin' this block of kids as they dislodge their clips from the
glocks that spit at cops that sit and won't stop this shit as they get
younger and younger, smokin' rocks and spliffs...
You think you can put a stop to this with pages of proverbs...?
How do I explain to eight-year-old Jane that prayer will erase the pain caused
when she was raped by her father...?
FBI implants microchips in specimen's heads...
Tests go wrong, they left him for dead...
But 168 people died when McVeigh rebelled against his testers, instead...
So where does the bible warn us of this...?
Porn loves our kids and war runs us trips to the morgue, but we absorb none
of this...
We think everything's changing as we keep the faith…
That when we're deceased, we'll reach that secret place...
Get on our knees and pray, put our money in that evil tray,
when some of us can't even afford to eat, today- it's an obscene display...
Yet we seem to Pray for something unseen when we need his grace...
You're too busy in church while doctors try and remove a bullet from your
son's bleeding face...
People came in feeble ways to seek your praise,
yes, lord, please, lead the way...
'Cause at this point, either way I'm free from blame...
Whether I take a seat, in your seeded plain deceased in vain or I flee from
flames,
it's worthless to observe this needless game when people still need to be
freed from pain...

(Chorus)
Worthless...
How easy the church is
Defeating the Purpose
Of screaming these verses…
This idol fallacy defines how callously mean and absurd Jesus' word is…

..and god only loves who he sees fit...
Well, in my eyes, he sees shit...
And when the fan is goin' and feces hit, when he sees this,
it's on, whether we talk it out or go blow for blow with bleeding fists...
He accepts some but renounces others...
How's your mother gonna feel when she finds out you're going to heaven
without your brothers,
'Cause they marry their male friends and are pronounced as lovers...?
And what if the judicial system upheld religious beliefs...?
What if some belligerent freaks murdered your family and then were given
release
by forgiving police who made them say two Hail Marys, two Our Fathers and
gave you a moment of silence and only minutes of grief...?
What if innocent victims of sinister feats could only find solace in a
minister's speech, as they sit right next to the same people who diminished
their peace and now they have to live in the streets-
But god won't condemn the sinners that delivered these vicious receipts- as
long as they pray for forgiveness, god will forgive them with ease...
Now I see the reasons behind beating Jesus and putting metal sticks in his
feet...
His crucifixion was sweet
to those who opposed the mission he preached...
It's easier to get a camel through the eye of a needle
than to read the bible to people
who are too concerned with real issues to buy into feeble lies from a guy
inside of a steeple, 'cause it's worthless...

(Chorus)
Worthless...
How easy the church is
Defeating the Purpose
Of screaming these verses…
This idol fallacy defines how callously mean and absurd Jesus' word is…

So our conclusion is
that god's intrusiveness with his religious rules and shit
makes him out to be a ruthless bitch...
That Armageddon isn't a tool to fix the ruling six,
rather it's a gathered spool of sick foolish tricks...
There're no horsemen... no heavenly conflagration...
And at this point, I'm willing to believe that there's probably not a
Satan...it's only god's deranged propagation of a rotten population that
needs to drop what they're doing to stop and praise him...
God is obviously not amazing...
He probably stopped to see the nazis chasin' innocent people and gas them in
noxious basins...
He's a sadistic fuck...
Witness the vicious system, it's stuck on forgivin' the "sinners" that leave
the innocent crushed...
Witness the murder, the rape and abuse...
We take the hate that's produced and relate to its use 'cause it's too late
to refuse...
We have bombs in our hearts, yet we eat fire that strays to the fuse...
Why do we toy with a fate that's subdued...?
'Cause god in America has left us dazed and confused...

(Final Chorus)
(Chorus +)
Worthless…
How easy the church is
Defeating the Purpose
Of screaming these verses…
This idol fallacy defines how callously mean and absurd Jesus' word is…

Niiiice, Actually.. This is Probably My Fav Written On Here. Lol i Was Noddin My Head at Some Parts Like 'Very Good Point', And The Multis Were Just On Fire Haha. This is Where i Hope To God (No Pun intended Lol) u Never Bit This (We've Had Past Experiences Like This On illest Before), id Like To Hear it On Audio Aswell Cuz The Structure Kinda Turned Off at Some Parts But if u Wrote it To a Beat it's All Good. a Shitload Of The Lines in Here Were Quotables And u Hit a Lot Of Subjects..... Accurately. Good To See We Have Another Heavyweight Here And Hopefully u Dont Just Disppear Like Some Guys. Keep it Up This Shit Was Hot.

Thanks, gentlemen... Idol Fallacy was not written to a beat, which is why, I think, the flow is (definitely) choppy at times... But I can assure you, it is not bitten at all.

Thanks... I'll hopefully re-record it soon - I don't like the current take - and then I'll post it up for everyone...

i liked this piece the only criticism i can give is your structure needs a lil tightening some of the continuing bars don't flow as smoothly as the other ones but other than that its good, vocab, rhyme scheme, imagery, content were all on point
