Yea...no hate, but when I heard this shit, I think a part of my soul curled up and died because it felt like I was punishing it by making it listen to a track so horrible...that my neighbors children began to howl!

And T.K.6...I've heard ur audios fam...I don't think you've got very good mastering skills man. LOL
And PLEASEEEEEEE stop sayin producing. Why do you think that when ur mixing that you're producing!? You're not making anything. You're cleaning and leveling out a track...that makes you a "mixing artist"...not a producer! You guys need to learn your terminology that you're using before you speak.

well then i guess im a mixing artist then not a producer?because to me a producer is someone who can make a song sound right.like with that song theres alot of work to be done to it and if i was there when they were recording i would of told them not to sing along wit eachotha in the 1st verse would of took out that echo would of done alot of shit.....to me thats producing....or is that just plain old mixing?

Thats just mixing. When you produce sumthin...to simply define the word produce, it's in other words is "to create". The songs is already written, and when you hit the studio it's already made. The final stage is to master the track and do it's final mixing. You're not "re-making" the song...at most you're just adjusting it. Changing sounds levels, adding effects...shit like that. You're not creating anything...you're just altering something that's already been created. Therefore you're NOT producing. Just mixing. Now beat-makers...people like Scott Storch or Timbland or Alchemist...they make beats and instrumentals from scratch. Since they "made" that beat...they technically "produced" that riff or beat & sample from their own mind...hence adopting the name of a PRODUCER.
Producers and Mixing Artists are two different Jobs.
Like to name a famous Mixing artist...Shady Records...Mike Strange is the mixing artist for alot of Eminem & D12's work. He produces as well...but he's their primary mixing artist @ 54 Sound.

ight i get it so u sayin if u make the beat u produced it coz like i thought if u were there when the MC was recording it and u didnt like the verse they did like the way they recorded it and u tell em to do it over to make it sound better and then u add effects and shit i thought that was being a producer
