I need some help with CEP, cause i'ma about to start recording, got everything set and wired up - except for a problem with the mic... its weird cause (those who are familiar with CEP knows there's a meter at the bottom measuring the volume of your recording) the recording/volume meter is responding to my voice, but the program don't want to record it! It's prolly som configurations, but anyone who has an idea?
IT'S URGENT!! Got other artists comin over on wednesday, and i need the device ready to go!

Could Be a Hardware Conflict if it's a USB Mic. Go To Device Manager (Not in Cool Edit) And Check The Drivers And Properties For ur Mic, u Should Find That Easily if u Know The Name Of ur Mic.

I've done that, but it isn't an USB mic, but when installing M-Audo Firewire (the mic and soundcard) I recieved a note sayin the program had not been verified by Windows yet, so i could jump into difficulties.. think that could be it?

No, I'll try that.. Is it any significance in the fact that i'm using a downloaded version of CEP?
