Love lost or wrong girl?

My first love is music
The 2nd is a girl
Who came in my life and rocked my whole world
But she had a lover, who wasnt a man
An I couldnt slip in cause her boy was like fam
It didnt work out, and the 2 parted ways
I didnt know what to do, I thought for days
I went in slowly and told her that Id always be there
Cause she never been with someone who gave a care
I couldnt make a move, didnt wanna take a chance
I wanted to cherish her, not jus be in her pants
Then summer came around and her actions changed drastically
She wasnt the same girl an it gave me a check of reality
I didnt want her like that, and I wanted it to stop before it start
So I sat her down one on one and played the best friend part
Stop drinkin, stop smokin, your lifes goin to waste
Then she snapped on me an blew up in my face
Ill fuck who I want and Ill smoke till Im blazed
An Ill keep drinkin till Im passed out for days
We fought an we fought till we couldnt fight no more
She finally had enough and kicked me out the door
Quit tryin to protect me, its my time to spend
You aint my man, you forget you're jus a friend?
Bout a week later I asked her to be mine
She told me no and said to stop wastin my time
She said I couldnt love her and I asked why
She said Ill never date you no matter how hard you try
Now we aint even close, she dont even say Hi
But I cant help but wonder everytime I drive by
Was she the girl for me, or just worth that second glance
Ill never find out cause she was too scared to take a chance
