resided to mindless acts of understandin' and patience
stuck with candid relations, couldn't have our love being branded as wasted
so I managed to face it, handled, debated, the scandals n' haters
laughed at by sadists, trapped by a love that a religious man had created
but still im a master of faces…and a put on a happy smile
