The 4th planet himself will be sentenced to probation and attend drug counseling as part of a guilty plea, stemming from an arrest in Las Vegas for possession of cocaine (picture is worth of a thousand words.)

The 25-year-old singer, born Peter Hernandez, was arrested in September of 2010, when a bathroom attendant at the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel saw him in a stall with a bag of white powder.

According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, Bruno Mars will plead guilty to possessing cocaine. As a result, the singer will serve a year of probation, pay a $2,000 fine, perform 200 hours of community service and attend drug counseling.

If Bruno Mars completes his probation without any issues, he will be able to withdraw his guilty plea and the case will be dismissed, since it was his first possession charge.

The singer, who was featured on B.o.B.’s Grammy Award winning hit single “Nothin’ On You” and Travie McCoy’s single, “Billionaire,” is currently at the top of Billboard’s Single’s chart.

This week, his latest song “Grenade” booted Britney Spears’ song “Hold It Against Me” from the #1 spot, making it the second time the single has occupied the position, now his music is almost as high as he is.

Bruno Mars is also nominated for seven Grammy’s this year for the industry hit single “Just the Way You Are.” He also co-wrote Cee Lo’s hit single “F**k You.” Sounds like someone is just getting started. Semi colon, closed parentheses.
