According to Joe Budden himself his latest album, Padded Room, is complete and should be released in the spring.
“It basically will be in the same vein as ‘Mood Muzik,’ just a little more structure, and the mood will probably be a little lighter. I’m definitely pleased with the direction that it’s going.â€
The album was originally titled “The Growth” but after the falling out with Def Jam, he has renamed it.
“The relationship [with Def Jam] went sour over the years, not something that just happened spontaneously or instantly. It was kind of a developing process.â€
The New Jersey rapper isn’t done after that. He plans to release his third album soon after and it’s already in production.
