Bone Thugs-N-Harmony group member Krayzie Bone is back.

The double-time extraordinaire is currently working on a compilation album that is being created to shed light on the Hip-Hop scene in Cleveland and Ohio, a city that has long been underestimated by most.

Krayzie has teamed with Quincy “Big Heff” Taylor to create the Cleveland is the City Vol. 1 mixtape, which will focus on the top rappers and producers from Cleveland.

Volume 2. in the series will spotlight the upcoming Pop and R&B artists from the city.

This will be a huge opportunity for up and coming artist to showcase their talents on a nationwide scale,” said Krayzie on the album. “What I’m looking to accomplish with these albums, is to try to bring all these artist together, not just from Cleveland, but the entire state of Ohio.”

Krayzie Bone admitted that the album spotlighting artists from his hometown is long overdue, but he took the time over the past few years to gain the “knowledge and wisdom” to make the compilation album a worthwhile project for prospective artists in the state.

Now the time has come to use my connections, and my 18 years of experience in the music industry to make this happen,” Krayzie Bone said. “If we all come together, stand firm, and support each other, I believe this movement could be as strong as the LA, Mia, Atl, and NY music movements. So Cleveland, Ohio and the rest of Ohio, Its time to stand up and claim our place in music history!”

A release date for Cleveland is the City Vol. 1 is not yet available.
